Emergency Responders Rush To Save Two on Sinking Boat

A boat took on water off Bristol's shore. Two individuals were onboard.

A boat was safely found and towed to shore after emergency crews received a distressed call Monday afternoon.Ā 

"Everyone safe," saidĀ Portsmouth Deputy Fire Chief Michael O'Brien, spokesman for the Portsmouth Fire Department, in a message to Patch.

Emergency crews responded to a distressed boat taking on water off the Bristol shore, according to O'Brien.Ā 

The vessel, with two people on board, began taking on water shortly after 2 p.m. Monday in Narragansett Bay near the Bristol area.
