The procession will include first responder vehicles from around the region, the Warren Fire Department said. It will kick off at 8:30 p.m. and follow this route:
- Start at 360 Market Street, heading south to Arlington Avenue, then continuing south along Arlington Avenue to Metacom Avenue, continuing to Tupelo Street in Bristol.
- The procession will then turn right onto Tupelo Street, heading west, continuing to Hope Street.
- Right onto Hope Street, heading North, continuing back to Warren along Main Street to Child Street.
- Right onto Child Street, then right onto Railroad Avenue, ending at fire headquarters at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Joyce Street.
Remy,66, was killed in a shooting at the Italo-American Club on Thursday. A lifelong Warren resident, Remy was a 40-year veteran of the fire department and the assistant fire chief. Fire Chief James Sousa called him "a dedicated member of the department ... [who] always answered the call" to help his community.
