Health Inspections: Gray's Cleared, Beehive Cited

Gray's on the Dock, 259 Thames St. ā Inspectors noted no violations during a visit on Aug. 7. The restaurant had been cited in July for storing containers and waffle cone mix on the floor, and lacking a splash shield on the handwashing sink.

The Beehive Cafe, 10 Franklin St. ā Inspectors noted that containers of granola were not properly labelled. Employees removed the packages from the shelf, according to the inspector's notes. The restaurant had been cited in June for improper labeling of granola, leaving an ice cream scoop on an unclean surface, lacking durable and nonabsorbent material on the walls near the sink, and lacking protective shielding for the lights over the three-bay sink.
