Heritage Group Eyes Methodist Church for First Rehab Project
The Warren Heritage Foundation is scheduled to hold a gala fundraiser on Saturday night for the renovation of the First United Methodist Church.
The group has only been together for a few months, but the Warren Heritage Foundation has already set an ambitious goal for its first project: raise funds for the renovation of the First United Methodist Church.
Marcia Blount, president and treasurer of the volunteer board, recently explained the importance of the church and the response from residents of Barrington who enjoy the iconic steeple as part of the scenic view across the Warren River.
The WHF has already collected a $16,000 donation to review the state of the church, and the gala is an effort to raise more money toward the costs of fixing the structure.
