John L. Alexander, 88: Veteran of Five WWII Campaigns in Europe

John L. Alexander, 88, of Bristol, formerly of Barrington, died Saturday, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Sarah (Cameron) Alexander, loving father of John C. Alexander of North Kingstown, Peter E. A. Alexander (Blair) of Middletown, James D. Alexander (Kathleen) of Barrington and Molly Alexander Oldham of Florida.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends on Wednesday, Apr. 24, from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral service to begin at 7 pm. Burial with full Military Honors will be at the RI Veterans Cemetery.
