Join East Bay Recovery Center for International Overdose Awareness Day
Candlelight Vigil and Walk in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, Aug 31 at 6:00pm.

East Bay Recovery Center (EBRC) welcomes all community members to join them on Thursday, August 31 at 6:00pm for a Candlelight Vigil and Walk in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day. The Candlelight Vigil and Walk is to honor the memory of individuals who lost their lives to substance use and to support those who struggle with addiction or are in recovery. Participants will walk from EBRC, at 31 Railroad Ave in Warren, to St. Mary of the Bay Church on 645 Main St., where the candlelight vigil will be held. A reception will follow at EBRC.
The Candlelight Vigil and Walk is a free family event organized by Warren Prevention Coalition and co-sponsored by EBRC; St. Mary of the Bay Church; the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals; Recovery Friendly Workplace; the Town of Warren and the Warren Police Department; and Warren Health Equity Zone.
