Josephine (Scolaro) Smith: Avid Gardener

Josephine (Scolaro) Smith, 86 of Port St. Lucie, FL, and formerly of Warren, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. She was the wife of the late Henry Adalard Smith, Jr., who died in November, 2012.

Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late John and Santina (Pante) Scolaro and had lived in Warren until retiring to Florida. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 63 years and loving mother to her ten children. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St. Warren. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 pm.
