More Child Porn Charges For Warren Man

WARREN, RI — A Warren man arrested last month in a bizarre child pornography sting is facing more charges. Christopher Kinney, 43, was arrested April 26 after authorities said he tried to arrange to meet a 14-year-old girl at a local mall, parade her around in a diaper and engage in illicit sexual activity.

On Friday, Kinney was charged with manufacturing child porn after authorities said he filmed two minors performing sex acts between 2011 and 2013.

During his arrest last month, police said they found 56 child porn images on his phone. Prosecutors said he communicated with an informant posing as a 14-year-old girl.

"He described his desire to meet with the teenager at a local mall where he would dress her in a diaper and, after walking her around the mall, would engage in illicit sexual activity with her in a mall restroom," U.S. Attorney Stephen Dambruch said in a statement.

Police said officers met Kinney at the mall and arrested him.

"Inside of Kinney's car law enforcement discovered, among other items, a diaper bag containing several diapers, a pacifier and baby bottle, condoms, candy and a canister of children's bubble fluid," Dambruch added.
