National Ice Cream Day 2022: Where To Grab A Scoop In Bristol-Warren

BRISTOL-WARREN, RI — Who doesn't love ice cream? And Sunday is the perfect day to celebrate that love for those frozen treats, because it's National Ice Cream Day.

The United States celebrated the first National Ice Cream Day in 1984. President Ronald Reagan, wanted to commemorate the treat enjoyed by most Americans and created the day.

Most of us can agree: ice cream is a deliciously sweet delicacy.

A recent ranking by TOP Data in honor of National Ice Cream Day determined the top 5 flavors in every state based on online shopping data.

The top flavor in Rhode Island: Strawberry.

Coming in second place was coffee, followed by coconut and vanilla. Green tea rounded out the top five.
