OLMC Takes Part in 'School Choice Week'

A Bristol school took part in the "National School Choice Week," the largest event of its kind, on Jan. 27.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School hosted an open house as part of the effort to raise awareness of the benefits of school choice for families in Bristol and across the country.

Students at OLMC wore yellow scarves and held signs "to demonstrate unity with millions of other school choice supporters nationwide," according to a statement released by the school.
"Children in Bristol and across the nation deserve the opportunity to go to schools of their parents' choice, and this event will help shine a spotlight on the transformational benefits of school choice," Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week President, said in the statement.
