BRISTOL-WARREN, RI ā Thursday is Thanksgiving, a day that most businesses close their doors to focus on celebrating with family and friends.
After the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of nearly all gatherings last year, Gov. Dan McKee said that it's finally safe to get together with family and friends this year, as long as safety precautions are in place.

- Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion, most closed
- Liquor stores: Most are closed
- Supermarkets: Open at owner's discretion
- Convenience stores: Open at owner's discretion
- Restaurants, bars: Open at owner's discretion
- Banks: Closed
- Libraries: Closed
- Stock market: Closed
- Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed
- Mail: Post offices closed
- RIPTA: Sunday/Holiday schedule
- Trash Collection: Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day in both towns.
