WARREN, RI — Without community leaders, Warren wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

What does this community leader do?

Founder & President, The FLY (Financial Lift for Young Adults with Cancer) Foundation

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

She established a nonprofit organization (during her own treatment) to find a way to help other young adults whose lives were thrown off track by a cancer diagnosis. Since 2010 she has saved hundreds of families in our local RI and MA community from losing their homes while they focused on getting well.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

She is humble and helps our community is so many quiet ways through her generosity and time. She’s also a successful business woman, involved in many local Warren organizations (including Hugh Cole PTO) and amazing mom. I don’t know how she juggles it all but she does with such grace, making each person or cause feel like her only priority.

She has received a bunch of awards for her professional accomplishments and was both a Providence and Boston ā€˜40 Under 40’ award winner.
