Warren Man Arrested In Child Porn Sting: Feds

WARREN, RI — A Warren man was recently arrested and charged with child pornography possession and trying to entice a girl he believed to be 14 years old, federal authorities announced Thursday. Christopher Kinney, 43, was arrested at a local mall during an undercover bust, according to U.S. Attorney Stephen Dambruch.

"It is alleged in court documents that Kinney had a series of online communications with the person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl," Dambruch said in a statement. "It is alleged that he described his desire to meet with the teenager at a local mall where he would dress her in a diaper and, after walking her around the mall, would engage in illicit sexual activity with her in a mall restroom."

The girl was actually an undercover informant and officers were at the mall when Kinney arrived, according to Dambruch.

"Inside of Kinney’s car law enforcement discovered, among other items, a diaper bag containing several diapers, a pacifier and baby bottle, condoms, candy and a canister of children’s bubble fluid," Dambruch said.

Officers said they also found 56 child porn images on his iPhone.

Kinney was charged with attempted enticement of a minor, child porn possession and distribution of child porn.
