Warren Police Log: Larceny, Domestic Charges, Dumpster Diver?

The Warren Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

  • Ryan Vazquez, 27, of 140 Market St., on a charge of larceny under $1,500 on Feb. 28 at about 4:30 pm, following his arrest by Barrington Police on a warrant. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 15.
  • Sandra Milhomens, 36, of 45 Mason St., on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct, on Feb. 28 at about 9 pm. She is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 8.
  • Susan Aubut, 32, of 700 Metacom Ave., on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on March 1 at about 3:30 pm following a traffic stop on Market Street.
  • Roger Turner, 59, of 24 Third St., on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court for failure to appear at a hearing on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Warren Police, on March 1 at about 9 pm. Turner posted bail at a court hearing yesterday, and is next scheduled to attend a hearing on March 8.
  • Max Erikhman, 18, of 150 Church St., Barrington, on charges of driving with a suspended license; marijuana possession, first offense; and driving in possession of a controlled substance, on March 2 at about 3:30 pm. Officers transported Erikhman to the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston, following his arrest. According to court records, Erikhman has an active warrant issued by Providence Superior Court for failure to appear at a hearing on felony charges of breaking and entering and conspiracy brought by East Providence Police.
  • Michael Mello, 37, of 146 Main St., on a warrant issued for charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct, on March 2 at about 5 pm. Officers presented Mello for arraignment at the police station and released him until a court date to be scheduled.
  • Edward Pacheco, 61, of 22 Vernon St.,Ā on a warrant issued for charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct, on March 2 at about 8:30 pm. Officers presented Pacheco for arraignment at the police station and released him until a court date to be scheduled.
  • Michael Smothers, 59, of 32 Third St., on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test, following a traffic stop on March 2 at 11:45 pm following a traffic stop at Kickemuit Road and William Avenue.
  • Brian Rogers, 33, of 60 Joanne Ave., Portsmouth, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on March 3 at about 5:30 pm following a traffic stop on Market Street. According to court records, Rogers pleaded no contest to two separate charges of driving with a suspended license brought by Bristol Police last year, and currently owes $784.50 in fines on those charges.
  • Jonathan Longo, 23, of 9 Brady St., on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court for failure to appear at a Feb. 15 sentencing hearing on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Warren Police. He is scheduled to appear at sentencing on March 8.

Incidents:

  • A Warren Police officer pursued a vehicle into Barrington on Feb. 28 at about 11:55 pm. According to police reports, the local officer followed the vehicle onto Sowams Road and Columbus Avenue at a reported speed of 45 mph. The officer stopped the pursuit at 12:01 am at Old Province Road and alerted Seekonk and Rehoboth, MA, police, as well as Rhode Island State troopers.
  • Officers responded to Serpentine Road on March 1 at about 10:30 am for a report of a vehicle stuck in the mud. AAA roadside service went to the scene to assist.
  • A resident of Laurel Lane called police on March 1 at about 8:15 pm to report that a firearm had been stolen from a vehicle.
  • On March 2 at about 4 am, an officer responded to Child Street to disperse a male subject who had been seen rummaging through a dumpster. The subject told police that he was on the way to a friend's house.
