Warren Police Log: Suspended License, DUI, Possible Home Break-Ins

The Warren Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents this week:

Arrested:

• Thomas Laperriere, 30, of 18 Pallas St., Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a traffic stop at Cutler and Croade Streets, on Jan. 31 at about 1:20 pm.
• Ghency Calcano, 24, of 293 Althea St., Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a traffic stop on Arlington Avenue, on Jan. 31 at about 2 pm.
• Richard Castriotta, 46, of 15 Diamond Ave., on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a traffic stop on Main Street, on Jan. 31 at about 4 pm.
• Irene Rebelo, 30, of 101 South Broadway Ave., East Providence, on charges of driving with a suspended license and obstructing police, following a stop at Main and Greene Streets, on Feb. 2 at about 1 am. Officers presented Rebelo for arraignment at the police station, and released her until a future court hearing.
• Paul Cordeiro, 40, of 1 King Philip Ave., Bristol, on a charge of DUI, following a stop on Metacom Avenue, on Feb. 2 at about 3 am. Officers presented Cordeiro for arraignment at the police station, and released him until a future court hearing.
• Deborah Shannon, 51, of 116 Touisset Ave., Swansea, MA, on charges of DUI and refusing to submit to a chemical test, following a stop at Highview Avenue and Child Street, on Feb. 3 at midnight.
• Michael Laferriere, 42, of 267 Main St., on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a stop on Almy Avenue, on Feb. 3 at about 10:30 pm.

Other reports:

• Officers responded to a home on Hezekiah Drive for a report of a burst water pipe on Jan. 28 at about 5:30 pm. The homeowner declined to file a damage report.
• On Jan. 29 at about 4:30 pm, officers responded to Water Street and dispersed five juveniles who had been playing on the ice.
• A resident of Arlington Avenue reported a possible hit-and-run on Jan. 30 at about 9:15 am. The car sustained damage to its side mirror, according to police reports.
• Officers responded to a report of flooding at a vacant building on Metacom Avenie on Feb. 1 at about 12:15 am. The owner of the building could not be reached.
• On Feb. 1 at about 3:30 am, officers responded to a home on Cutler Avenue after a resident called police and said his girlfriend would not leave. Initial reports were that officers found "a few parties having a disagreement [and] calling it a night." About an hour later, officers responded to the home again and transported the woman to her home in Bristol.
• A resident of Sission Street reported a possible house break-in on Feb 1 at 6:45 am. Detectives responded to the scene to collect evidence.
• Officers responded to a home on Main Street on Feb. 2 at about 12:30 pm for a call of an attempted break-in. The caller reported finding the window pane broken on a door to the home.
• An employee of a Metacom Avenue business reported that a customer attempted to use a fake ID for a purchase on Feb. 2 at about 6 pm. The suspect had left the scene when officers responded to the location.
