What's Happening This Weekend in Bristol and Warren?

Here are some things to know about this weekend, Jan. 11-12, in and aroundĀ Bristol and Warren:Ā 

Drop off your old, unused, or unwanted electronics – anything taking up space in your house with a wire -- for free on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Mount Hope Winter Farmers Market, 250 Metacom Ave., Bristol. IndieCycle of Rhode IslandĀ will cart awayĀ the electronicsĀ for recycling. For a $10 disposal fee, you can also get rid of air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and mini-refrigerators.Ā 

Have you ever considered Lincoln School in Providence for your daughter? An All-School Open House will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1 to 3 pm. While visiting the campus at 301 Butler Ave., you can meet current students, teachers, and parents, and hear from incoming Head of School Suzanne Fogarty.

Need we mention the NFL playoff game on Saturday night, Jan. 11, between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. The game starts at 8:30 pm. You can ride MBTA trains from Providence, T.F. Green Airport or South Station in Boston.

TheĀ Baptist Church in WarrenĀ continues the celebration of its founding 250 years ago with the second performance of its year-long concert seriesĀ on Sunday, Jan. 12,Ā at 3 pm. Joyce Katzberg and Jimmy Warren team up againĀ for a folk-fusion performance.Ā
