A federal program helps eligible families with their internet bills during the pandemic.

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — A federal program helps eligible households pay for their internet service during the pandemic, and one provider wants to remind Central Falls residents about the opportunity.
In a news release, Cox Communications said it has partnered with the City of Central Falls to implement the Emergency Broadband Benefit program, or EBB. Eligible families may qualify for up to $50 off their monthly bill, based upon their service and equipment rental, for as long as government funds remain available.
The program is temporary and available for a limited amount of time. Those who wish to qualify should visit Cox.com/c2c. For more information on the EBB program, visit Cox.com/ebb.
