29 Cats With Respiratory Illness Saved From Coventry Home, Up For Adoption

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry police and animal control officers rescued 29 cats last month after executing a search warrant at a local home.
Around 1:05 p.m. May 22, authorities searched the Coventry home and said they found 29 cats, all suffering from upper respiratory infections.
Police said the cats were seen by a veterinarian and are now in the care of Coventry Animal Control. All the cats have been vaccinated, fixed and are ready for adoption.

Animal control officials have asked for the public’s help finding each of them a good home.
Coventry Animal Control is located at 1666 Flat River Road, and is open from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. daily.
