8 Rhode Island Museums To Be Featured On PBS Series
The locally produced series offers a look behind the scenes at the efforts made by museum curators, historians, and preservationists.

COVENTRY, RI — Rhode Island PBS is bringing back its "Treasures Inside the Museum" series for its fourth season, and eight Rhode Island museums will be featured, the television station said Friday.
The locally produced series offers a look behind the scenes at the efforts made by museum curators, historians, and preservationists dedicated to saving these properties for the public to enjoy. Its lens gives audiences a unique perspective on preserving artifacts for future generations in Rhode Island and near the border in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

- East Greenwich Veteran Fireman's Museum
- Clouds Hill House Museum, Warwick
- Providence Art Club
- John Brown Watch Hill Lighthouse Museum, Westerly
- St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center, Woonsocket
- Nathanael Greene Homestead, Coventry
- Chateau-sur-Mer, Newport
- Paine House Museum, Coventry.
"We hope this season will inspire viewers to appreciate the significance of these treasures that can be found all around our area and to explore these museums to see for themselves the stories they tell," Jim Karpeichik, the series videographer and editor said.
Treasures Inside the Museum Season 4 airs at 7 p.m. on Sundays on Rhode Island PBS and encores 8 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturdays. The series is also available to stream online.
