CCFD Special Master Responds to Labor Union Flyer

The following announcement from Special Master Richard Land is in response to the attached flyer:

I have been provided a copy of the enclosed flyer which appears to have been sent by the RI AFL-CIO to residents of the CCFD.  

• Neither I nor the Court authorized or approved the flyer. 

• The flyer misquotes and distorts what I have stated publicly. 

• The flyer was distributed by the AFL-CIO and not by Central Coventry Fire District.

• The flyer uses the CCFD logo wrongfully and without my authorization or the authorization of the Court.

• I have demanded that the AFL-CIO retract the misinformation it has circulated.
