Back To School: See The Coventry 2022-23 Public School Calendar
Parents in the Coventry Public School District can mark the first day of school coming later this summer, as well as other important dates.
COVENTRY, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Rhode Island, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Coventry Public School District.
The first day of school for grade 1-12 students is Wednesday, Aug. 31. Younger students will go back Sept. 6.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two year-and-a-half point.

As of Tuesday, July 26, Coventry Public Schools has no plans to require masks in school, regardless of vaccination status.

First Day: Aug. 31 for grades 1-12 and Sept. 6 for pre-k and kindergarten.
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25
Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan.2
February Vacation: Feb. 20-24
