CCFD Board of Directors Candidate: Cynthia Fagan-Perry

Cynthia is one of 12 candidates vying for a seat on the Central Coventry Fire District Board of Directors, which will be decided with an all-day vote on June 29.

Cynthia Fagan-Perry, of 770 Phillips Hill Road, is a fourth-generation Coventry resident and is running as one of the six Coventry Citizens Taskforce-endorsed candidates.

A retired medical technologist, she has served in public volunteer posts for more than 20 years as a member of the Coventry Conservation Committee from 1989 through 1996, serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman, and from 1996 to 2011, as a member of the Coventry Planning Commission.

Cindy believes by serving on the CCFD Board, she can bring needed stability to the fire district.

"I believe we need a fresh, honest start with some new faces that can bring fresh ideas to the District, and a chance to solve problems instead of being at odds with one another,” she said.

The Special Election will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the Town Council Chambers at the Coventry Town Hall (1675 Flat River Rd.).
