Connecticut Woman Killed In Rollover Crash On I-95
According to state police, 35-year-old Klaudyna Polewacz was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle in the crash.
RICHMOND, RI — A Connecticut woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 South in Richmond Wednesday evening. Klaudyna Polewacz, 35, was the only person in the vehicle, Rhode Island State Police said.
Polewacz was thrown from the vehicle in the crash, which happened around 4:15 p.m. The vehicle veered into the center median and rolled over several times, according to police. The driver was rushed to Kent County Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash and the victim was not wearing a seatbealt at the time, police said. Anyone with further informantion is encouraged to reach out to the Hope Valley State Police Barracks at 401-444-1068.
