Construction Coming To Coventry's Main Street

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry drivers should anticipate delays along Main Street in the coming weeks, when repaving will be underway.

Crews will excavate the remaining concrete base near the community center from Monday to Friday next week, the town said. From Aug. 2 to 6, crews will mill the road from Sandy Bottom to Old Main Street, preparing it for final paving. Paving is set to happen from Aug. 10 to 13.

The construction schedule is weather dependent, and could change, the town said.
