Coventry 2022 Election Results: Town Backs Fung, Rejects URI Repairs

Coventry tends to lean more red than the rest of the RI, and that trend continued with the town backing Kalus, Fung and other Republicans.

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry strayed from the rest of the state when voting for one of the bond questions and several statewide offices, according to unofficial results released Tuesday night.

Coventry tends to lean more Republican than the rest of Rhode Island, and that trend continued with the town backing Ashley Kalus for governor, Allan Fung for U.S. Congress and other GOP members on the statewide portion of the ballot.
