Coventry Emergency Team Accepting Applications
Coventry citizens have a chance to join the team dedicated to taking charge during crises.

COVENTRY, R.I. — Coventry residents have a chance to be a part of the solution in joining the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). All adults are welcome.
Over several weeks, basic training will total 20 hours of learning skills that could save lives. They need at least five members to hold the class.
Coventry's CERT team joins with other CERT teams around the area in training and participating in events. The free training gets you on the team.

There's no meeting in December, but they generally meet monthly. For more information, go to their January 9 meeting at 6:30 at the Town Hall Annex at 1675 Flat River Rd. or email coventryricertteam@gmail.com.
