Women Lured Man From Rhode Island Casino Into Hotel Room Robbery: Cops
A man armed with a knife lay in wait for the women to bring the target of the robbery to the Bally's hotel room, police said.
LINCOLN, RI — Two women lured a man from the Bally's Twin River Casino floor up to a hotel room where a man armed with a knife lay in wait to rob him, police said.
The two Massachusetts women — Naushka Machuca, 19, of Marlborough, and Tashawana Tuckta-Warner, also 19, of Boston — were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy, the Lincoln Police Department said in a media release, and Machuca was also charged with disorderly conduct.

The man with the knife, 28-year-old Dominyck Sims of Worcester, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy, weapons other than firearms prohibited and disorderly conduct, according to the release.

Officers responded to the casino shortly before 1:45 a.m. Monday to investigate a report of an armed robbery and determined Machuca and Tuckta-Warner "conspired to lure a male victim from the casino floor to a hotel room," the release said.

Once Machuca and Tuckta-Warner enticed the man to accompany them to the room, he was threatened with a knife and robbed of $1,500, according to the release.

"After the incident, the victim was allowed to leave and was instructed not to contact authorities," the release said.
