Coventry Fire Displaces Families Early Sunday Morning

A patrol officer noticed the fire at 1:41 a.m. No one was hurt.

COVENTRY, RI — A fire at 25-27 Boston Street left several residents without a home, police said. A patrol officer noticed the fire on a back porch at 1:41 a.m. Sunday. He called the fire department. Although the fire did spread to the main apartment building, everyone got out. No one was hurt.

The state fire marshal is investigating.
