Coventry High School NJROTC had its last Drill Meet and came home with lots of hardware.

On Saturday February 4, led by Coaches Bill "Top" Dudley and Gina "Drill Mom" Studley, the Coventry High School Navy JROTC Hornet Drill Team competed in the last drill meet of the season at Springfield Central High School. The Team came away with a 1st place trophy in Armed Regulation, 2nd place trophy in Armed Inspection, and 3rd place trophy in Armed Exhibition. C/CPO Rafel Moreno-Solano won a medal in the Individual Armed event, and C/PO1 Devin Amadon, C/PO2 Jacob Fernandes and C/SA Adam Andrews won medals in the Individual Unarmed event. The Team was also awarded with 1st place trophies for the season in Armed Regulation, Armed Inspection and Armed Color Guard, and a 2nd place trophy in Armed Exhibition. As a result of this outstanding performance over the course of the season, the team brought home the 1st place trophy for the Armed Division! Finally C/SA Adam Andrews brought home a medal in the season individual competition. Overall an amazing season for the newly established Navy JROTC, picking up right where the AFJROTC Falcon Drill Team left off.
