Coventry Man Wins $18K On Lottery Ticket He Bought In East Providence
Rhode Island Lottery officials say this was the second time the Coventry man won $18,000 playing the same numbers.
COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry man won $18,000 on a Keno Plus ticket on Tuesday, Rhode Island Lottery officials said.
Lottery officials said the man bought the winning ticket at Taunton Avenue Irving in East Providence at 155 Taunton Ave.
He wagered one dollar on a seven-spot Keno Plus ticket and matched all seven numbers for the base win of $4,500. The prize was multiplied by four to equal $18,000 when the “4X” Keno Plus multiplier was drawn. He said he’s played the same numbers before and won $18,000 in 2022.
