Coventry Middle School Has Brief Lockdown

COVENTRY, RI — Shawn Feinstein Middle School in Coventry was briefly placed on lockdown Wednesday while police investigated a threat complaint.

Police were called to the school at 15 Foster Drive around 8 a.m. The juveniles responsible for making threats were located, and the lockdown was lifted at 8:17 a.m., police said.

Police said there were no injuries and no weapons were involved or found.
