COVENTRY, RI — Coventry police were successfully able to reunite a lost pig with its family on Wednesday afternoon. The owner was located around 12 p.m. after police posted a photo on Facebook in the morning, asking if anyone knew its owner.
"We found the owner. Miss Piggy is headed back to her home," the update read.
The pig was found wandering around in the area of Whaley Hollow Road, Williams Crossing Road and Harkney Hill Road.

"The person whose property she was on was nice enough to let it stay they're for the night, but wants the pig to find its home soon," police wrote in the original post.
