Coventry To Resume Yard Waste Pickup In April 2022

With temperatures warming up, many Rhode Islanders are getting ready to clear out their yards and gardens.

COVENTRY, RI — Spring weather is finally here in Rhode Island, leading many to plan their gardens and start cleaning up yard debris from the winter months. Although the warmer temperatures appear to be here to stay, Coventry residents have a few weeks to wait before weekly yard waste pickup resumes.

Coventry collects yard waste at the curb from April through December, weather permitting. Residents can leave yard waste for collection on their regular trash day.

Yard waste must be in a bag or clean barrel. It will not be collected if it is mixed with regular household trash, dirt, sand or mulch. Branches must be four feet long or smaller and bundled.
