COVENTRY, RI — Coventry's 2022 curbside leaf collection and yard waste pickup began in April, but there's now only a month left to get those fall leaves off out of the yard.

Yard waste pickup ends in December in Coventry. Town officials said no container will be collected if it is mixed with trash and yard waste. All yard waste must be placed in paper bags or clean barrels.

Once the deadline for pickup passes, the other option to get rid of yard waste is to bring it to the transfer station at 1670 Flat River Road. The station is free to use year-round.

Correction: An earlier version of this story did not mention that all leaves and other yard waste must be in a container to be picked up.
