DUI Charges In RI Crash That Critically Injured Youth
Alexander Krajewski, 30, faces DUI charges for a crash that injured two people, one critically, over the weekend.
EXETER, RI — Two young people were injured in a head-on crash over the weekend, Rhode Island State Police said. One of the drivers, 30-year-old Alexander Krajewski, is facing DUI charges.
The crash happened on Ten Rod Road in Exeter, at Arcadia Road, around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both vehicles involved were significantly damaged, police said, and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people, both under the age of 18, were in one of the vehicles, police said. The driver sustained minor injuries, while the passenger was critically injured.

Krajewski, a North Kingstown resident, was driving the other vehicle and was not injured n the crash. He was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of driving to endanger, injury resulting and two counts of driving under the influence, serious injury resulting. He was later released.
