Planning Commission Meeting: The Coventry Planning Commission will meet this evening at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Click here for tonight's agenda.
Capt. Hall Memorial Services: Services will be held today for CCFD Capt. Bill Hall who passed away following a battle with cancer on April 20. Capt. Hall's funeral procession will begin at 8:45 a.m. from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, (415 Washington St.), and will conclude at SS John & Paul Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours are scheduled for Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to RI Pink Heals (www.ripinktrucks.com) will be appreciated.

Early Learning Center Forum: School officials will hold a Community Public Forum at 6 p.m. this evening to present and discuss details regarding the proposed Oak Haven Early Learning Center for Pre-K and K students in Coventry. The forum will be held at the School Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Rd.) and will give residents the opportunity to ask questions, address concerns and give input. Plan Ahead - CPEF Fundraiser: The Coventry Public Education Foundation is hosting a fundraiser from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at ShelaLara Vineyards & Winery (21B Reservoir Rd.) to raise money that enables CPEF members to enhance the quality of education in Coventry. Tickets are $30 per adult (21+). The event will feature wine-tasting, tours, light appetizers, a silent auction, grab bags and a raffle.
