Meet the Candidates: The Central Coventry Citizens Taskforce for Fire Protection will hold a Meet the Candidates event from 7-9 p.m. this evening at Club Jogues (184 Boston St.). Stop by to meet the Taskforce's endorsed candidates who are running for the Central Coventry Fire District Board of Directors. Light refreshments will be served. The Board election will be held on June 28 at the Coventry Town Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here to visit the official Taskforce website.
CPL Summer Reading: Registration is now open for Coventry Public Library's Summer Reading Program, "Dig Into Reading". Children entering grades 1-5 may register online at www.coventrylibrary.org or in person. CPL librarians will track summer reading progress, offer crafts and hold special performances and events throughout the summer. Call 822-9102 for more information.
