CHS Early Dismissal Reminder: Coventry High School students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. today to allow for staff Professional Development.
CPEF Fundraiser Tickets: The Coventry Public Education Foundation is hosting a fundraiser from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at ShelaLara Vineyards & Winery (21B Reservoir Rd.) to raise money that enables CPEF members to enhance the quality of education in Coventry. Tickets are $30 per adult (21+). The event will feature wine-tasting, tours, light appetizers, a silent auction, grab bags and a raffle. CCFD Status Update:Â Judge Brian Stern has scheduled a hearing for a status update from Central Coventry Fire District Special Master Rick Land to discuss any progress made regarding the foundering fire district's financial troubles. The hearing will be held on Friday, May 3 at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 4E at Kent County Superior Court (222 Quaker Ln., Warwick).
