Football Schedule 2023: See Who Coventry High Faces This Fall

COVENTRY, RI — The first week of school marks the hard end of summer vacation, but the new school year doesn't really round into form until the first kickoff on a Friday night.

That day will come Friday for the Coventry High School football team, who will play a road game at Mount Hope High School on Friday. The Oakers will play their first home game in week three against Chariho.

Coventry's annual Thanksgiving Day matchup against West Warwick is also returning again in 2023 with a 10 a.m. kickoff.

Here's the full 2023 schedule for the Coventry High School football team:

• Sept. 8 at Mt. Hope, 6 p.m.
• Sept. 14 at Toll Gate, 6 p.m.
• Sept. 22 vs. Chariho, 6:30 p.m.
• Sept. 29 vs. Middletown, 6:30 p.m.
• Oct. 6 at Lincoln, 6 p.m.
• Oct. 13 vs. North Smithfield/Mt. St. Charles Academy, 6:30 p.m.
• Oct. 21 at Classical, 3 p.m.
• Oct. 28 at Tolman, 6 p.m.
• Nov. 23 vs. West Warwick, 10 a.m.
