Obituary: Edmund David Carlson, Jr.

Carlson, a graduate of Coventry High School, passed away on March 16.

 

Edmund D. Carlson, Jr., 25, of West Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Born on October 12, 1987 in Warwick, he was the son of Edmund D. Carlson, Sr. and Denise L. Bousquet, and the step son of Lynn Bousquet.

Ed attended Coventry High School, graduating in 2006. He had worked for various landscaping companies over the past five years.

He loved football, baseball, hockey, and golf. Ed also enjoyed classic hip hop, rock & roll, and the blues. Music was his passion and he loved writing, composing, recording, and playing his own music. An avid reader, Ed was also artistic in many different ways. He loved to draw and paint.

Besides his parents, he leaves his sister, Jacqueline E. Carlson, step sister, Jessica Santiago, step brother, Jarrod Rouse; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ed also leaves his closest friend, his dog Emma and Lucy his favorite cat.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick, with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
