Watch Video: Coventry Man Shoveled the Road Himself When No Plow Showed Up
Many residents want to know who to call on the carpet at City Hall, but in Coventry, one man took a shovel and cleared a hill.
COVENTRY, RI—Joseph Behm, of Coventry, sent Patch this video. It shows him shoveling his own street after several crashes happened. Behm said he called Coventry police and ultimately decided to just grab a shovel himself and clear a path for the cars.
It's not the way he likes to spend a Sunday morning, he said.
Police in many communities acknowledged some residents were not at all happy with the way the city or town handled the snow removal.
