COVENTRY, RI—Residents are urged to attend a public informational meeting to get a look at the proposed Human Services and Police Complex that Coventry voters will be asked to approve at the ballots this November.

The plan is to rehabilitate the facility at 50 Wood St., home do the town's department of human services, providing new modern facilities for the department. The existing station at 1075 Main St. is outdated and not structurally accommodating for a modern police department.

The 75-year-old police station was built as a Town Hall in 1941 and the Police Department moved into the building in 1980.
