Rhode Island Parks Open For 2021 Recreation Reservations
The state's Department of Environmental Management is accepting reservations for picnic areas, shelters and fields.
Rhode Islanders hoping to "take it outside" in 2021 can now reserve picnic areas, shelters and recreational fields at state parks. Reservations opened this week and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservations can be made over the phone or in-person at certain state parks. Advance payment is required within 10 business days, and can be paid via cash, check or money order. Prices are listed below.
- Picnic sites (one picnic table and one fireplace): $5 per day
- Covered shelters: vary by site, range from $75 to $100 per day
- Recreational fields: vary by location and size.
Reservations are not weather-dependent and fees are nonrefundable.

Burlingame State Park Picnic Area

Goddard Memorial State Park
