State Police Reports & Legal Logs - March 2013: DUI, Warrants and More

A collection of various Coventry-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Lincoln Woods Barracks

  • On Feb. 27 at 5 p.m., Troopers arrested Brian Lambert, 39, of 38 Parker St., Coventry, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the charge of Domestic Assault originating from the Coventry Police Department. This arrest was the result of a report filed by the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles. Lambert was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released after posting the required cash bail.

  • At 4:32 p.m. on Mar. 4, Troopers arrested Gavin Finnerty, 45, of 175 Logbridge Rd., Coventry, RI on Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Ability to Pay for Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centre of New England Blvd in the Town of Coventry. Finnerty was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
  • At 1:10 a.m. on Mar. 18, Troopers arrested Michael Santos, 42 of 32 Noella Ave., Coventry, RI for Driving Under the Influence 1st Offense (Phase #1 .214)(Phase # .210). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the Town of Exeter. Santos was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending an arraignment at 4th District Court.
  • At 2:30 a.m. on Mar. 31, Troopers arrested Ioannis Labrakis, 53, of 9 Circlewood Dr., Coventry, RI for Driving Under the Influence – BAC .10 -.15 – First Offense (Phase I - .102 / Phase II - .109). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 North at Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Labrakis was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.
  • At 10:15 p.m. on Apr. 2, Troopers arrested Gavin Finnerty, 45, of 175 Log Bridge Rd., Coventry, RI for Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment for Driving with a Suspended License originating from the Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Troopers responding to the above address. Finnerty was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.

Wickford Barracks

  • On Mar. 19, At 11:50 p.m., Troopers arrested Raymond Dexter, 32, of 35 Mumford St., Coventry, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs- First Offense (Phase I-.118 / Phase II-.115 ) 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road, in the City of Warwick. Dexter was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending a morning arraignment at Third District Court.
  • On Mar. 20, At 9:07 a.m., a Trooper arrested Joseph Lambert, 35, of 18 Stone St., Coventry, RI on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial on the original charge of Violation of No Contact Order out of State Police – Hope Valley. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Lambert was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to Third Division District Court.
  • At 3:06 p.m. on Mar. 20, a Trooper arrested Glenn Dixon, 20, of 653 Whaley Hollow Rd., Coventry, RI on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving With a Suspended License out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. Dixon was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released after posting the required surety bail.
  • On March 23 at 10:51 p.m., Troopers arrested William Bickhart, 30, of 978 Tiogue Ave., Coventry, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs, (Phase I BAC .154%; Phase II BAC .163%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick. Bickhart was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
  • At 11:40 p.m. on March 25, Troopers arrested Walter Carpenter, 43 of 2280 Nooseneck Hill Rd., Coventry, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the Original charge of Driving With a Suspended License originating from the State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick. Carpenter was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
  • On March 30 at 5:30 p.m., Troopers, arrested Jeffrey A. D'Ambra, 29, of 24 Mohawk Dr., Coventry, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant, for Failure to Appear for Payment, for the charge of Operating with a Suspended License from Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue, in the City of Warwick. D'Ambra was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson and released after posting the required bail.
