COVENTRY, RI—A SWAT team has surrounded a house in Coventry after a man reportedly barricaded himself inside.
Police are gathered outside the house on Racoon Run Road after responding to a report of a domestic situation.
Members of the Coventry, West Warwick and state police are at the scene.

Police said in a news release that "the officers will be attempting to negotiate with the male to bring this call to a safe conclusion."
The man reportedly refused to come out of the house. Police established a perimeter in the area.
