Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Emily is a great human, she loves and cares for her students as if they were her own children, she advocates for them and makes sure they get what they need to succeed. She’s an outgoing, colorful, loving, and such a great educator and truly an amazing human who deserves to be honored and recognized. She’s been in the district since I was in middle school, and I graduated in 2012. That just shows how dedicated she is to our children’s future.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She will never let you give up on yourself, and she pushing you til you succeed. I am so lucky that I got a chance to work with her and continue our relationship even after I have gotten laid off. She’s mentoring me into becoming a special educator. It’s been my dream, and she’s made me realize it’s time to make my dream become reality.
