Where To See Santa In Coventry This Christmas Season
There are a couple chances to see Santa Claus this year around Coventry. Here's when you can catch him.
COVENTRY, RI — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Coventry families. In Coventry, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Coventry Parks and Recreation Department will kick off the holiday season with the lighting of nine Christmas trees and the Guy L. Lefebvre Community Center at 6 p.m. Friday. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 1277 Main St. in Coventry.
Santa Claus will also be making a special visit. He will arrive by fire truck thanks to the Central Coventry Fire District.

Eight trees will be decorated by the graduating class of each of Coventry's schools. One school tree will be announced as most creative that evening. Local school choirs will also sing holiday songs.
There will also be a letters to Santa craft station for children to create and write their wish list for Santa. All letters will be delivered to Santa at the Winter Wonderland event on Saturday.
Winter Wonderland Celebration & Craft Fair
The Coventry Winter Wonderland event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday outside the town hall at 1670 Flat River Road. Santa Claus will be there for free pictures with the kids.
There will also be holiday craft vendors, a free gift-wrapping station, food trucks, a holiday hayride, a free kids' craft station, Coventry Public Library activities, and more.
