More Than 25 Cars Vandalized At Pilgrim High School Junior Prom In Cranston
Cranston police say some students' cars had eggs smashed on them, while others had vulgarity and hateful language written on their windows.

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police have asked for the public's help finding whoever vandalized more than 25 cars Friday outside the Pilgrim High School junior prom.
Pilgrim High School Principal Tony Gibbons sent a letter to the Warwick school community which read that someone came to the parking lot of the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston and "tried to ruin the kids' night." He said some cars had eggs smashed on them, while others had rude pictures, vulgarity and hateful language written on their windows.
"Some families have began the work to press charges and if you would like to add your name to the report, please contact the Cranston Police," Gibbons' letter read. "I am thankful for the responsiveness of the Cranston Police Department and the care they took of our kids."
