Bonnie and Clyde need a home!

Two bonded kittens ~ adoptable at Warwick Animal Shelter

Bonnie and Clyde, two 5-month-old kittens
Bonnie and Clyde, two 5-month-old kittens (Warwick Animal Shelter)

Two kittens, Bonnie and Clyde, were abandoned in Warwick by their “owner” (grrr) and then made their way to the shelter. Once at the shelter, they were vetted, spayed and neutered then went into foster care. Bonnie and Clyde have made great progress coming out of their shells (see foster care mom’s observations below)!

At the end of August, these 5-month-old cuties will be ready to go to their forever home and the shelter is collecting applications. We do not want to separate them or see them come back to the shelter; we prefer they go right to their new family. Bonnie and Clyde are sweet, fun and young, so if you are looking to add a bonded pair of kitties to your home, please contact the Warwick Animal Shelter (contact info below).

"Bonnie and Clyde’s personalities are really coming out now. They really are amazing kittens, both pretty independent, adventurous, playful and extremely friendly.
Clyde has not once forgotten to remind me that it is close to time for food. And I can tell Bonnie is getting tired when she comes over for some extra attention.
Neither of them likes to be held, but both have come up for lap snuggles and are always right where I am. They greet me at the door and they’ve graduated to being out in the house while I’m away - they’ve never gotten into mischief while I’m gone.
My favorite part of their day is breakfast. Clyde eats faster than Bonnie, so he’ll finish his food then lie down and wait patiently for her to finish before he cleans her plate. Then it’s on to watching the birds and squirrels before a romp and a nap."

Note: The shelter is full of adoptable cats right now - help!!!
Our cats are healthy, fixed and vetted but adoptions have greatly slowed while intakes haven’t stopped, including a few hoarding situations. We have several bonded pairs of cats, close to 10 black cats (some bonded pairs), tigers, tortis, calicos, orange, gray, tuxedos, long haired, short haired – quite the variety! If you have been considering adopting a cat(s) or know anyone that is, please help these cats out: share our social media posts, Petfinder bios and encourage adoption. The cats appreciate your help!
