Cranston: Shooting On Bain Street: WPRO
Shots were fired Wednesday morning, witnesses said.
CRANSTON, RI — WPRO-FM is reporting at least one person went to the hospital after a shooting Wednesday morning on Bain Street near Cory Avenue. Patch has contacted Cranston police and asked for details.
State police spokeswoman Laura Meade Kirk said she "can confirm that the RI State Police are working with the Cranston Police Department and the Attorney General’s Office to investigate a shooting in Cranston." But the incident is still under investigation," she said. "I can’t comment beyond that."
